General Overview

 

Sinai Christian Academy offers Pre-k 3 and Pre-k 4 academic instruction and child care for children ages 3 through 5 years old in our Genesis Early Childhood Program. The school hours are from 8:20 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 8:20 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Parents have the option of utilizing our extended care services which are available from 7:00 a.m. until 8:20 a.m. for morning care and 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. for aftercare, Monday through Friday.

 

The program’s goal is to provide holistic activities that stimulate and encourage intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and physical growth on various levels, in a nurturing, Christian environment. All staff members model and foster healthy social interactions amongst the children, so they can feel emotionally secure.

 

The program for both 3 and 4-year-olds consists of a structured day, in which children are actively involved in an established routine. Group and individual activities, academic instruction, free play, outdoor time, product and process art, music, and gym are offered. In addition, children have daily circle time, devotions, snack, and nap times. Weekly age appropriate chapels are held with the elementary students and staff.
